ْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”
A threshold crossed,
world left behind,
Where silence speaks,
where hearts realign.
Believers seek (blessings)
barakah, from the
Malakah’s (angels)
favorite part of the year,
RAMADAN
Offspring of Adam (PBUH),
they take time to reconnect,
Entering the last 10 nights,
grateful for the iftars,
Quelled an appetite,
while the soul hungers
for knowledge,
Al-Hakim is suffice,
pay respect in His house,
twice a rakat.
The lamp is lit,
the pages flip
the ink is thick,
Tears hit the ground,
every sajdah
makes the heart tick.
Seeking the Night
of Power (Laylatul Qadr),
in the depths of the night,
One prayer
could change a destiny,
rewrite life.
Angels descend,
their wings stretch across the land
Only the chosen
will grasp
what’s in His hand.
So we stand,
so we bow,
so we call in the dark,
Hoping Allah engraves
mercy in our hearts.
