🌙 Ramadan 19, 1446 (March 19, 2025) | Watering the Soul 🌿

“Just as water revives the earth, Qur’an and Dhikr revive the heart.”

Tonight, in the stillness of the sunroom, I watered my plants and reflected on something deeper—our souls, like soil, need nourishment. Without water, plants wither. Without faith, the heart hardens.

💧 Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:

“Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its death. We have made the signs clear for you so that you may understand.” (Surah Al-Hadid 57:17)

🌿 The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The heart is like a field. When it receives water, it flourishes; when deprived, it withers.” (Musnad Ahmad 6799)

Reflection:

Just as we are mindful of tending to plants, we must tend to our hearts. Are we feeding them with Qur’an, Dhikr, and Salah? Or are we neglecting them, allowing them to dry out?

✨ This Ramadan is more than just fasting—it’s about nourishing our faith.
